Helen M. Kott (nee Sadusky) of Hillsborough, NJ entered into eternal life on December 5 at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation in Hillsborough, NJ after a valiant battle with COVID19. Born on May 18, 1929 in Shenandoah, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roman Sadusky and Sophie Sadusky (Sarol). Her husband, Stephen Kott, preceded in her death in 1995. Her husband, Stanley Falkowski, preceded her in death in 1992.

Helen moved to Bridgewater in 1950 and resided there until 1986 when she moved to Bushkill Falls, PA. While in Bridgewater, she worked as a department store clerk, a seamstress, a nurse’s aide, and as a Quality Control technician at Devro (a former Johnson & Johnson company) until her retirement in 1986. She was active at St. Mary’s of Czestochowa Church in Bound Brook and was a member of the choir. She also served on the Finderne Rescue Squad.

Helen loved being with family, having fun with friends, music, singing, laughing, fishing, decorating for holidays, baking, and was a wonderful cook. She was known for her delicious pierogis and babka. Most of all, she loved her son, John, and her daughter, Eileen. Helen is predeceased by her parents, and her siblings Jenny, Alexander, Anthony, Regina, Bernard, and Stanley. Helen is survived by her son, John Meehan and his wife, Donna, of Asbury, NJ, and her daughter, Eileen O’Neil, and her husband, Robert of New Hope, PA, and her three grandsons, John Michael Meehan, Jeremy Meehan and his wife, Michelle, and Joshua Meehan. She was also the very proud great-grandmother to Jeremy James Meehan, son of Jeremy and Michelle Meehan. Helen leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

We will all grieve her loss as matriarch of our family. She will be missed but we find comfort knowing that she is at peace and in Jesus’ loving arms.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 14 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s of Czestochowa Church, 201 Vosseller Ave, Bound Brook, NJ. Burial will be private.
