Harvey F. Rude, Jr., 67, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 doing what he loved most on the riverbank in NJ. He was born in Philadelphia, April 28, 1947. He graduated from Somerville High School and then entered the Air Force where he served in Vietnam from 1967 through 1968. He spent 40 years working at United Telephone in Belle Mead, NJ. Since retirement, he has shared his love of fishing by teaching others his gift at Shannon's Fly & Tackle in Califon, NJ.

Aside from the salt water and fresh water, his other true loves are Nancy Rude-his loving wife, Jennifer Rude Zelesnick- his oldest daughter, Crystal Rude Boyles-his youngest daughter, and his three precious granddaughters; Ella, Blake and Molly, his brothers George and Peter Rude and finally his beloved Golden Retriever- "Nautic" will surely miss this amazing Man.

Visiting hours will begin at 4pm on Saturday, March 21, and conclude with a Memorial Service at 7pm at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Harvey's memory to the Hillsborough and Montgomery Rescue Squads or the Montgomery Fire House.
