George F. Taylor, 71, of Vero Beach, Fl. died Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center.

Mr. Taylor was born, October 25, 1938 in Somerville, NJ and moved to Vero Beach 26 years ago from New Jersey.

He followed his family tradition and became a Firefighter. Later in life, Mr. Taylor became the CEO of Taylor Oil Co. Inc. a company founded by his Grandfather in 1907. He was also a member of the Vero Beach Yacht Club.

Survivors include his wife, of 40 years, Jean Taylor of Vero Beach; daughters Laura Perry of Pennsylvania, Lynn Taylor of New Jersey, and Leigh Talucci of Pennsylvania; brother, David M. Taylor of New Jersey; mother Elizabeth Taylor of New Jersey; and two grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday October 15, 2010 from 6pm till 9 pm at the Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave., Somerville. Funeral Service will be on Saturday October 16, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at New Cemetery in Somerville.

George Taylor was a man loved and respected by many. His passion for life, his generosity and loyalty to all those around him made him very special to all. To the few that had the opportunity to know him well our lives are better because of it.
