Gail Marie Figueroa, 52, died suddenly on December 1, 2022 at University Hospital in Newark.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Bound Brook NJ to the late Angelo Figueroa and Dianne Lewis , she was best known as Figgy in Highschool and loved Joan Jett and Rick Springfield.
She met the love of her life, Robert J. DiFelice, and settled in Bound Brook where they raised their family. She worked for the Bound Brook After School Program and was a housekeeper at Somerset Medical Center. Gail started working as a server at Sunset Diner and with her natural outgoing personality, fit right in. She spent many years creating relationships with her regulars and locals and truly loved her job.
Gail loved decorating for the holidays and the time spent creating memories with her family. She had a love of music, Danielle Steele books, murder mysteries, fishing trips, and going to the casino. She was a friend to all she met and loved her children more than anything.
She was welcomed into heaven by her cherished daughter, Gabrielle DiFelice.
Surviving are her loving spouse Robert J. DiFelice, her loving children, Joe DiFelice, Amanda DiFelice and Fiancé Raymond Perez, and Anthony DiFelice, her dear grandson, Payton DiFelice, her loving sister and best friend Dianne Figueroa, her eight nieces, three great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and community friends.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Bound Brook Cemetery, 500 Mountain Ave, Bound Brook, NJ 08805
