Frederick "Fred" Muskal died April 6 at home with his family by his side. Mr. Muskal was born in New Brunswick and resided in Somerville for 56 years.

He began his career as a sheet metal mechanic for Elmer Brewer Heating and Airconditioning then Henry's Air Conditioning both in Somerville and retired from Total Energy Service of Hillsborough after many years in the industry. He was a former Boy Scout Leader, Little League Coach and member of the Ace Sportsman Club. His past times included hunting, fishing, bowling, solving crossword puzzels and building lighthouses.

Surviving are his wife Jean, a sister Elizabeth Muskal and his children Patricia Bylina, Michael Muskal, Beverly Dow and Marcy Muskal. Also surviving are his grandchildren Holly, Megan, Michael Jr., Robert, Allison, Ian and 4 great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will begin at 5pm, concluding with a Funeral Service at 8pm on Wednesday, April 10, at the Cusick Funeral Home in Somerville
