Francine E. Cornell

Francine E. Cornell peacefully entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 13th, 2010 at home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Somerville, NJ, and raised in Raritan, she then returned to Somerville, when she married her husband Ken, 49 years ago. She enjoyed swimming at the local YMCA, attending services at Immaculate Conception Church, and sharing laughter and joy with family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth; Daughters, Carrie Perry of Georgia, Kim and her husband Paul Taubman, II, of Somerville, Jennifer and her husband Kevin Byrne of Hazlet; her four grandchildren Richard James, Victoria, Kelly, & Kristen; Sisters Lorraine Church and husband Ed Nielowocki, Melissa Smith-Thompson and husband George. Predeceased by parents Frank & Marion Obszanski and sister Amy. Visiting hours will be held at Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville, on Wednesday, March 17th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Thursday, March 18th at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville.
