Frances T. Hardgrove (nee Sorace) age 89 of Somerville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Woodview Estates, Mays Landing, N.J.

Loving wife of the late Richard L. Hardgrove, she was preceded in death by her sister, Natalie Sorace, her brothers Edward Sorace and Joseph Sorace, and her daughter Barbara Hardgrove. Frances is survived by her two sons Richard of Northfield, N.J., Kenneth (Holly) of Pacific Palisades, Ca., and her brother James Sorace of Bridgewater. Frances is also survived by her two granddaughters, Allison Hardgrove and Lauren Hardgrove both of whom she loved and cherished. A former member of Immaculate Conception Church she was a longtime member of the Catholic Women’s Club and the Altar Rosary Society.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church , 35 Mountain Avenue, Somerville, N.J., on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the New Cemetery, 192 South Bridge Street, Somerville, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Frances’s name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718
