Florianna Lisay Bieros died September 25 after a long illness surrounded by family. Mrs. Bieros was a resident of Bridgewater.
She enjoyed a career as a runway model for the New York fashion houses before becoming a war time bride. Mrs. Bieros served in the Red Cross, the Immaculate Conception Rosary Alter Society and other charities. For many years Immaculate Conception parishioners enjoyed the beautiful holiday flower arrangements Mrs. Bieros made for the church. She was passionate about antiques and collectibles. Mrs. Bieros will be remembered as the devoted matriarch of her family.
Mrs. Bieros is preceded in death by her husband Edward and son Roger as well as her brother John Lisay and sisters Mary Skochin, Rosemary Suto, Sophia Takacs and Nancy Suto.
She is survived by sons Kevin and Edward Bieros and daughter Melaine Campbell as well as her granddaughters Danielle DelloBuono, Heather Jenkins, Gianna Bieros, Sophia Bieros and grandsons William Campbell and Edward Bieros. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Savannah Jenkins, Liam and Audrey Campbell and Gabrielle Bieros as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am on Saturday, September 29 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville. A private family burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Manville.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to your favorite charities.
