Evonne Johnston Federico, 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, May 18, 2018 after battling cancer. She was born on March 12, 1934 in Wilmington, Delaware to Lila Scott Johnston and Robert S. Johnston. Evonne was employed for many years as a Customer Service Representative with Devro, and later American Standard until she retired. She was past President of the Somerville Schools PTO, and was active in community service.

Evonne was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald (Jerry) of 43 years. She is survived by her sister, Lois Streletz and husband Zeno. She is also survived by her six children: Karen Honey, Lawrence and fiancé Meryl, Robert and wife Linda, Patricia Papera and husband Mark, Richard and wife Cheryl, and Steven and wife Dawn, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grand children, and another great grandchild on the way.

Evonne enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was an avid photographer, and could be seen at all family events with her camera in hand.

Visitation will begin at 10:30am on Tuesday, May 22, and conclude with a brief Prayer Service at Noon at the Cusick Funeral Home in Somerville. Burial will take place at a later date.
