Douglas A. Radcliffe,57, died May 24. He was born in Yonkers, NY, grew up in Scotch Plains where he graduated from Scotch Plains High School and resided in Hopewell before moving to Frenchtown in 1999. Mr. Radcliffe was a Registered Architect in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and had worked at several firms including Faridy, Thorne & Fraytak of Trenton and most recently with HDR cuh2a of Princeton. A graduate of North Dakota State University, Fargo with his BS degree in Architecture. Surviving are his wife, Karen, his siblings Randy, Gregory, Veronica, Diana Radcliffe and Jacqueline Buchanan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30am on Saturday, May 28 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville. Interment to follow at Bound Brook Cemetery. Visiting hours from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday, May 27 at the Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave., Somerville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart Association on any Animal Rescue or Shelter of your choice.
