Donald A. Murphy, 70, died February 24 at Clara Maass Medical Center. Mr. Murphy was born in Newark resided in Irvington before moving to Belleville in 1977.

He retired after 38 years as a postal employee in Newark. Surviving are 2 brothers, George Murphy (wife Ann) and James Murphy and a niece Catherine and nephew Joseph.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, March 1, at the Mary, Mother of God Church, So. Triangle Rd., Hillsborough. Interment will be private at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Visiting hours from 7pm-9pm on Thursday, February 28, at the Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave., Somerville.
