Dominic Perone

Manville

Born September 13, 1930 in Manville, NJ to immigrant parents, Salvatore and Lucille Perone, Dominic died peacefully at his home in Whiting, NJ on July 12, 2015.
Dominic graduated from Bound Brook High School, served in the US Army during the Korean War and married his life-long love, Nellie (Lakowitz) Perone. They resided in Hillsborough NJ, where he became a Master Plumber, served as a Plumbing Inspector for Branchburg Township and ran his own Plumbing and Heating business for 50 years.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nellie, and three children, Vincent (Donna) Perone of Saratoga Springs, NY; Patty Plaskon (John) of Easton MD; and Michael (Catherine) Perone of Bernardsville, NJ, and eight grandchildren: Mike and Natalie Perone; Sonya, Sam and James Plaskon; and Thomas, Eddie and Olivia Perone.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation,1130 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753.

Visitation will be at Cusick Funeral Home in Somerville on Saturday, July 18, 2015 beginning at 9:30am and conclude with a Funeral Service at 11am at the funeral home followed by burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
