David Patrick Ianiro

David Patrick Ianiro, 53, died peacefully on December 14, 2022, after battling lung cancer.

Born in Brooklyn, New York to Patrick and Patricia Ianiro (nee Marfat), his family settled to Hillsborough, where he attended Hillsborough High School. David went on to graduate from Lincoln Technical Institute as an Automotive Technician. His career stemmed from his love of motorcycles, fast cars and spending time working on them. David was an ASE certified Automotive Technician for American Tire in Chester and Green Brook for the past fifteen years.

He always worked on cars for his family and friends and was known to always have ongoing projects. David was a caring guy with a big heart who was always around to lend a helping hand. In the past, he enjoyed chess, a good round of golf in the summer and skiing in the winter. David’s greatest love in life was his daughters and being a Papa to his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his life-long partner, Deborah Moore.

Surviving are his loving parents, Patrick and Patricia Ianiro, his adored daughters, Ashley and Rebecca Kugler, his dear siblings Frank Ianiro and wife Tracy and Jeannine Donis and husband Manolo, his cherished grandchildren Nathan and Mila, as well as his nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 10:00AM at Mary Mother of God Roman Catholic Church, 157 S Triangle Rd, Hillsborough. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM.

Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, followed by a repast luncheon where family and friends are welcome at Montgomery Fire House, 529 County Road #518, Skillman.

Memorial contributions may be made in David's memory to the American Lung Association, Donate Online . Acknowledgement cards can be sent to the funeral home to be forwarded to the family.
