David J. Chopay

David J. Chopay died September 15 in Hillsborough. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and has been a resident of Hillsborough since 1986.


Mr. Chopay retired in 1988 from RCA Global/ GE/ MCI, Piscataway where he was employed in their payroll departments for 16 years. An Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of St. Joseph Church, Raritan, Mr. Chopay is survived by his wife, Joan, his sons David and Patrick and two granddaughters Julia and Kaitlyn.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am on Friday, September 19, at St. Joseph Church, Raritan. Visiting hours from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Thursday, September 18, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville.
