Daniel "Danny" L. O'Connor Jr. died October 26 at RWJ at Somerset in Somerville. Danny was born in Plainfield and has been a resident of Branchburg since 1991. He was President of Dan O'Connor Associates, a company he founded in 1976. A graduate of Union County College although he affectionately called his Alma Mater UCLA (Union College Late Afternoon).

Danny may have been in sales his whole life but what he sold to anyone who knew him for years or just in passing was a true sense of caring and friendship. This Irishman left us too early but his memory will last our lifetime.

His daughter Caitlyn predeceased him in 2012. Surviving are his wife Alycia and his siblings Fred and Jacqueline Mowat, several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Saturday, November 1, at the Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave., Somerville preceded by visiting at 11am at the funeral home. After the Service, family, friends and neighbors will have an opportunity to share stories and memories of Danny.
