?Dana J Hawkins

​Dana J Hawkins, Age 37, of Manville, passed away on June 9th 2021 in Morristown Memorial Hospital.

Dana was born in Somerville to Ronald Smith and Debra Hawkins on January 7th, 1984. She went to school in the Manville school system and graduated in 2001. After that, she attended Raritan Valley Community College with the hopes of achieving a degree in Graphic Design. She was an Assistant Store Manager at The Walking Company in Bridgewater for 5 years.

She has always had a love for painting and drawing and would share this talent by making homemade items for family and friends throughout the years. She was also a photographer in her own rite. She loved capturing moments on film. She loved to travel. Her favorite places to visit were Pittsburgh, New York City and Disney World. She also had a love for Animals, dogs especially. She would regularly bring over blankets and food to her local Animal Shelters. Dana is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Smith and her beloved Boxer, Capone.

She is survived by her Mother, Debra Hawkins, Sister, Megan Hardy and Brother, Ron Smith. She will be missed by several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

Visiting hours will begin at 5pm and conclude with a Funeral Service at 7pm on Monday, June14, at the Cusick Funeral Home in Somerville, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that a donation be made to Somerset Regional Animal Shelter.
