Crystal Gall

Crystal Gall, 36, joined into eternal rest on August 8, 2022.

Born and raised in Somerville, Crystal was active in Somerville and Branchburg Recreation, serving as a lifeguard at the Park Avenue Pool. She was on the Somerville Recreation Cheer Team and went on to compete in State Championships. Crystal was on the Swim team and 4-H Summer Camps. She had a natural talent for dance and began in 1991 with Kathleen Academy of Dance. Crystal attended Texas Tech in Lubbock Texas. She did the Village Theater Camp and had voice lessons that led her to try out for American Idol. She also tried out for the Amazing Race and was an audience member for Wendy Williams.

When Crystal was bright, she really shined. She grew up as a parishioner of The Church of The Immaculate Conception. Crystal knew she gained the most by giving back, she was a member of the Somerset County Youth Council, volunteered at the Somerset Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependence, and Somerset County REBEL.

She had an incredible personality and smile that lit up the room. Crystal devoted herself to loving her family, her animals, and her community.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and her beloved father John Gall.

Surviving are her loving mother and step father Brenda and Mark Pateman, her dear brother Noel Dumbor and wife Maria, her cherished nephews Cayden and Riely, her maternal aunt and uncle, Karen Horn and Scott Minegar, as well as her extended family and friends.

Happy Birthday in Heaven Crystal may the angels lead you into paradise.

A celebration of her life will be held on her birthday, July 21, 2023, from 6:00 to 7:00PM at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.
