Claudia Cassie Dorsey, 73, died peacefully on August 14, 2026.

Born in South Bound Brook on October 3, 1952 to the late Samuel and Elouise Jones (Miller), she went on to graduate from Bound Brook High School in 1971. Claudia attended Middlesex County College and moved to Somerville in 1974. She married and raised her son in Somerville. Claudia found community and supporting her son in various activities that he did. She enjoyed hanging with her dogs Beauty and Hova. Attending family reunions and spending time with her friends.

Claudia spent time living in Virginia for almost a decade, before moving back home to be closer to her grandchildren. She cherished the quality time they spent together. Playing continues board games and taking them to Rita's. They brought such joy to her life.

Claudia was predeceased by her parents Samuel Robert Jones Sr. & Elouise Jones, and her brothers Samuel Robert Jones Jr. & Terry Lester Jones.

Surviving are her loving son, Keine Dorsey(Kate), her cherished grandchildren Maximus, Mia, and Miles, niece Aneysa Pointer-Jones as well as many extended family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 10:00AM on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 519 Mercer St, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
