Christine Wilma Phillips

Christine Wilma Phillips, 74, died peacefully on September 3, 2026 with her family by her side.

A gifted musician, she played multiple instruments and graduated from the NY High School of Music & Art where she studied percussion and voice.

Christine will be remembered as a kind, gentle mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family and friends and never lost her sense of humor despite a difficult life. She loved crocheting stuffed animals and blankets for children and infants, reading, singing in the choir of The Church of the Immaculate Conception, playing piano, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter and cherished grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 35 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.
