Christine "Teena " Hardgrove

Christine "Teena " Hardgrove passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 20, 2018 at the Foothill Acres Nursing Home.

​Born in New York City on September 12, 1930, she graduated from William Cullen Bryant High School and worked as a secretary. She was married to Robert Hardgrove of Somerville, N.J.in 1950.

Christine was a parishioner at the Hillsborough Reformed Church, a member of the Roycefield Swim Club, and a Somerset County Election Board worker. She is survived by her sons, Robert and his wife Helen Marie, James, and Jeffrey; her grandchildren,Dr.Kathleen Richardson and her husband Russ, Michael, Robert, Kenneth, James, and Caroline;her great-grandchildren, Luke and Grace Richardson and her sisters Susan Podzamsky and Elizabeth Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert; her parents Paul and Susie Hiza and her sisters Ann Fusek and Kathyrn Medvecky.

A visitation will be held at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave.,Somerville, N.J. on Sunday July 29 from 2 -5 PM. Services to be held at Hillsborough Reformed Church in Millstone, 1 Amwell Rd. Hillsborough, N.J. on Monday July 30 at 10 AM followed by burial at the New Cemetery in Somerville, N.J.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christine's name to the Hillsborough Reformed Church.
