Christian A. Smith

Christian A. Smith of Toms River, NJ passed on November 28, 2020 due to complications of COVID19.

Chris was born and raised in Somerville, NJ. After graduating from Immaculata High School in Somerville, he then attended Rider University and graduated with a BS in Industrial Management followed by a career in Sales Management.
Chris loved being around his family and friends while also enjoying boating on the Barnegat Bay and spending time at the beach. He also loved basketball and coached for St. Mary’s CYO in Stafford Township, NJ.

Chris is survived by his children, Chris Smith Jr., Kelly Smith, Melissa Lewis, Matt Mazepa, Erin Kelly and Lindsey Smith. Chis is also survived by his sister Kate Meade and brother Drew Smith. Chris is pre-deceased by his father Arthur E. Smith, the former Mayor of Somerville, and his mother Kathleen C. Smith both of Somerville.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday December 4th at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Church followed by burial at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Somerville, NJ.
