Charles Jasper Vullo, Jr.

Charles Jasper Vullo, Jr., 92, died peacefully on January 12, 2023.


Born in Buffalo, New York to the late Charles, Sr. and Anna Vullo (nee Urban), he was raised in Lackawana, New York. He went on to meet the love of his life, Gloria Guerino, and settled in Kenmore where they raised their family. Mr. Vullo proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was stationed on the U.S.S. Missouri, and other ships, he joined his shipmates in reunions and gatherings well into his 80’s.


Charles worked for General Motors, Chevy as a Tool & Die Maker in Buffalo. He enjoyed time at home with his family and tending to his small garden and property in Tonawanda. They enjoyed traveling, especially to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Charles and Gloria were inseparable for the past seventy years, the love they have for each other kept them strong, no matter what came their way in life. In 2018 they moved in with their daughter, Leslie, and her family in Branchburg, New Jersey.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Sam and Joe.


Surviving are his beloved wife of seventy years, Gloria Vullo, his daughters Leslie Sandora and husband Edward, and Deborah Magliette and partner Rosemary, his grandchildren Ashley, Nicholas, Michael, and Jessica, as well as his dear brother Ralph Vullo.
