Charles V. LoBianco died August 8 at home. He was predeceased by his first wife Anne J. (Murphy) LoBianco and his son Robert C. LoBianco. Charles was born in Elizabeth and lived in Hillside and Fanwood before moving to Martinsville in 1963. An Army Veteran of WWII, Mr. LoBianco served in the 3rd Army with General Patton in the Anti Tank Co., 378th Infantry, 95th Division. He retired from Bell Telephone Laboratories in Murray Hill after 34 years of service. Surviving are his wife Janet (VanBrunt-Scott) LoBianco; a daughter Nancy E. Miller (husband Carl); step children Jamie Schenck (husband Michael), Judy Watkins, Jeffrey Scott (wife Donna); grandchildren Heather Payne (husband Adam), Daniel R. Miller; 10 step grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; a brother John A. LoBianco (wife Edna) of Florida. A Funeral Service will be held 10am on Friday, August12 at the Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave., Somerville. Interment to follow at St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington. Visiting hours are from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Thursday, August 11 at the funeral home.
