Charles P. Bennett died September 26 at Somerset Medical Center. Mr. Bennett was born in Brooklyn, NY and has been a resident of Bridgewater since 1976. He owned and operated Crim Associates of Bridgewater. An Army veteran of WWII, he served in the 82nd Airborne Division Paratroopers. Surviving are his wife Mary. Two sons Philip (fiance Regina) and Patrick (wife Trish) and a daughter Claudia Browne (husband Tom). Six grandchildren Olivia, Tommy, Carolyn, Patrick, Devenny and Ashley and his siblings Barbara Dazzo (husband Al), Carolyn Abatemarco, Rosemary Bennett and the late John Bennett. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Monday, October 1 at the Blessed Sacrament Church, Washington Valley Rd., Martinsville. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Mt. Airy Rd., Basking Ridge. Visiting hours from 2pm-5pm on Sunday, September 30 at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville.
