Carter Matthew Abbott went home to be with our Lord on Friday, March 30. Born in Kansas, MO, he lived the last 18 months in Novato,CA.with his family. He is survived by his parents, Matthew, formerly of Quincy, IL, and Emily Geng Abbott, formerly of Hillsborough,NJ and his big sister, Elizabeth, along with four grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom were blessed by each moment of his precious life. A Funersl Service will be held 3pm on Saturday, April 7, at the Montgomery Evangelical Free Church, 246 Griggstown Rd., Belle Mead, NJ 08502. Visiting hours are from 4:30pm to 7:30pm on Friday, April 6, at the Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountsain Ave., Somerville, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Anat Baniel Method, 4330 Redwood Highway, #350, San Rafael, CA 94903. This is where Carter lovingly received 18 months of therapy. Matt and Emily have set a scholarship fund, to honor and remember their dear son, for children who may not have the necessary resources to receive this amazing therapy that helped Carter live life.
