Basking Ridge

Barbara A. Henke of Basking Ridge died September 23 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. She was born in Somerville, resided in Bedminster before moving here in 1990. Barbara focused so much of her energy on education as President of Today's World Learning Center in Basking Ridge. She received her Masters Degree in Education from Rutgers University and had continued working toward her Doctorate Degree there. Surviving are her daughter Jackie Henke; her siblings, Michael and Gerard Stefanick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Tuesday, September 27 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 35 Mountain Ave,Somerville. Entombment to follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to PETA or Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, PO Box 8073, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
