Barbara Dixon

Barbara Lynn Dixon, born April 2, 1978, passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2024.

Barbara grew up in Bound Brook, NJ, and graduated as a class salutatorian from Alma Preparatory High School in Zarephath, NJ. Her enjoyment of working with animals led Barbara to a career as manager of the grooming salon at PetSmart before transferring to and managing the grooming salon at Petco in Jacksonville, FL.

Barbara loved spending time with her nieces and spoiling them every chance she could. Barbara was not only a big sister to four siblings, but she was an amazing friend with the biggest, kindest heart. She was always there for anyone who needed her, whether it was for advice, or just an ear to listen. Barbara will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her love and dedication to those she cared for will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed.

Barbara was predeceased by her father, Jeffrey Dixon, mother, Lillian Cuza, and younger brother, Brian Dixon. She leaves behind her remaining siblings, Toni Acosta and husband Anthony; Kelly Cuza, and David Cuza, and his wife Maryam; nieces Adrianna, Kylie, and Kaylani, Goddaughter and niece Brianna Acosta, as well as her second mother, Nora Dixon of Vero Beach, Florida.

A Memorial Service will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.

Inurnment to follow at 12:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 85 Pleasant Hill Road, Chester.
