Aurea Camacho Lambino

Aurea Camacho Lambino, 68, passed away peacefully at home on August 12, 2024, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. Born in Basista, Pangasinan, Philippines, Aurea was the beloved daughter of the late Aguido and Magdalena Camacho (née Quinto).

Aurea’s journey began in the Philippines, where she attended college in Manila. It was there that she met and fell in love with Rodrigo Aquino Lambino, her devoted husband of forty-six years. Together, they built a life filled with love, starting their family in the Philippines before immigrating to the United States in 2005.

Aurea dedicated over fifteen years of her professional life as a technologist at LabCorp of America. Outside of work, she found joy in the simple yet profound pleasures of life—cooking, gardening, and sewing. Her talent for cross-stitching produced treasured keepsakes that will continue to be cherished by family and friends for years to come.

Aurea was a woman of deep faith; her devotion to Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Blessed Mother Mary was unwavering. Her spiritual strength and love for her family were the cornerstones of her life. She was a caring wife, a nurturing mother, and a doting grandmother. Her home was a haven of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, a place where the warmth of her spirit will forever linger.

Aurea is survived by her loving husband, Rodrigo; her cherished children, Rachelle Henson and her husband, Jeff; Eumir Lambino and his wife Myla, Gino Lambino, and Jonathan Lambino and his wife Mariel; and her adored grandchildren, Nicole, Gia, Jawon, Derek, Liam, and Acadia. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Aurea’s life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and family. Her legacy of kindness, devotion, and warmth will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at The Church of The Immaculate Conception, 35 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.

Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater.
