Arnold Joseph Demarco

Mr. DeMarco was born to the late Daniel and Marie DeMarco, August 12, 1933, in Roselle Park. Arnold attended Roselle Park High School. He was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served in the US Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Antietam. He married Charlotte Putnick in 1956, and they have resided in Somerville since 1962. Arnold retired from Ethicon as a Maintenance Supervisor in 1996.

He was a Deacon in Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville for 35 years where he loved his ministry, helping others, and making a difference in peoples lives.
Arnold is survived by his two children Paul DeMarco of Westchester, NY, Steven DeMarco of Berlin, NJ and his wife of 56 years, Charlotte. He also is survived by his granddaughter, Christina Demarco of West Chester Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Immaculate Conception Church Foundation, 35 Mountain Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, from 5pm to 8pm at Immaculate Conception Church 35 Mountain Ave in Somerville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church at 9:30am on Monday, January 27, followed by an Entombment Service at St. Bernard Mausoleum, Bridgewater.
