Annunziata "Nancy" Dotta

BRIDGEWATER- Annunziata “Nancy” (Foti) Dotta, 87, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Nancy was born on September 5, 1935, to the late Nicola and Teresa Foti and raised in S. Onofrio, Calabria, Italy.

Nancy married the love of her life, Joseph Dotta, in 1970 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. The Dotta Family settled in Bridgewater, where Nancy’s family lived. She worked as a seamstress, volunteered for the Deborah Hospital Foundation, and always prayed for everyone. Although she did not have any children of her own, she was a mother figure in the lives of her nieces and nephews along with their families.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Frank and Dominick, sister Isabella, nephew Rosario, great nephew Domenico, and great niece Rosalinda.

Surviving is her beloved husband of 52 years, Joseph Dotta, her loving sister Andreana LoPresti and husband Ottavio, sister-in-law Giovanna Foti, and a multitude of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 60 Maple St, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
