Anne Katherine Pierce

Anne Katherine Pierce, 95, died peacefully on March 9, 2023.

Born and raised in New Brunswick, New Jersey to the late Joseph and Katherine Szabo, she graduated from high school and went on to work at Westinghouse in Edison.

As a factory worker, Anne met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Pierce, when their eyes met across the factory floor. The two married and settled in Edison. In their retirement, they enjoyed traveling the world together, making memories that lasted a lifetime.

Recently, the Pierces’ settled into a retirement community so that they could assure to stay together.

She was preceded in death by her dear sisters Rose and Mary, and her nephew Christopher.

Surviving are her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Pierce, her dear sister in law Florence Lynch, and devoted nephew Douglas Lynch and wife Kelli.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Cemetery Road, Woodbridge.
