Ann (Menci) Bentivegna, wife of the late Ben Bentivegna, died August 27 at Somerset Medical Center. Mrs. Bentivegna was born in Yonkers, NY and resided in Bridgewater for over 60 years. She began her employment with the Diocese of Metuchen at St. Joseph's Church in Raritan and retired after 25 years at St. Mary's Church-Stoney Hill in Watchung. In the early 1950s through the early 1980s, Ann was the bookkeeper for her husband's business the Bentivegna Fish Market in Morristown. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Raritan where she sang in their choir for many years. Surviving are her son Frank, her grandchildren Gina and Ben and her brothers Vincent and Louis Menci. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am on Saturday, September 1, at St. Joseph's Church, Somerset St., Raritan. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Somerville. Visiting hours from 2-4 & 7-9pm on Friday, August 31, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville.
