Andrea Sophia Wilk, daughter of the late John Wilk, died January 28, 2011. Andrea was born in Somerville and resided in the Neshanic section of Hillsborough for 25 years before moving to Middlesex County recently. She was a former medical assistant at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick, working primarily in the childrens ward and most recently as a teacher of medical assisting at the Anthem Institute in Edison. Surviving are her mother Frances Ross and step-father Walter Ross, her siblings Seth, Theresa and Lara Wilk and her maternal grandmother Wilma E. Cornely, many relatives from the Wilk and Cornely familiesas well as Andrea's loving partner John Swiderski. Andrea also leaves behind her closest friends who loved her like family.

Visiting hours are from 3pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday, February 1 at the Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave., Somerville. Family and friends will gather 10am on Wednesday, February 2 at the funeral home before leaving for the Funeral Service at the Somerset Hills Memorial Park Chapel, Mt. Airy Rd., Basking Ridge scheduled for 11am.
