Amy E Stadtmueller passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at the age of 91. She was born in Summit NJ on August 21, 1929 to Charles W and Eleanor (Baker) Anthony. Amy grew up in Liberty Corner and graduated from Bernards High School in 1947.

After marrying Karl N Stadtmueller in 1949, she moved to Basking Ridge (Bridgewater), where together they built their home and raised a family. Karl predeceased her in 1998 but Amy remained independent in her home for over 60 years.

She enjoyed gardening and could more often than not be found outside in her yard tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. She was a member of the Bridgewater Senior Citizens and Women's Club, the Washington Valley Garden Club, and the Garden Club of New Jersey. She volunteered for many years with the Somerset Hills Visiting Nurses Association annual Rummage Sale and dedicated a lot of her time to the Volunteer Services Program at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Lyons, NJ. Amy was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church at Pluckemin.

Besides her husband, Karl, and her parents, Amy was predeceased in 2019 by her younger brother, Charles Anthony.

Having lived a full life, Amy is survived by her sister, Eleanor (Anthony) Hatzikalfas, and her husband, John. Also her daughter, Judy (Stadtmueller-LaGreca) Bartash and her husband, Ron, as well as her son, Karl and his wife, Susan. She has 4 grandchildren, Jason LaGreca and his wife, Heidi, Michelle Ingargiola and husband Peter, FCC Kevin LaGreca USN, and wife, Lauren, and Adam LaGreca. She also has 7 Great Grandchildren. Amy has left a wonderful legacy and in return has received many blessings!

Due to continued pandemic concerns, there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Amy will be laid to rest with her husband in a private graveside service.
