Amerigo A. Passariello

Amerigo A. Passariello,92, entered into eternal rest on November 8 . He was born in Manhattan, NY and has been a resident of Bridgewater for over 70 years. Mr. Passariello was a long term butcher and meat cutter for the A&P Supermarkets having worked in Somerville and other towns before retiring from the Pluckemin store at the age of 62. During his retirement, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife Veronica and his family.

An Army veteran of WWII, he served in the Southwest Pacific Theatre, New Guinea, Philippines and Japan. Surviving are his wife Veronica, a son Lawrence and a daughter Carol Mea and grandchildren Ann Marie and Frank Jr.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Thursday, November 11 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 35 Mountain Ave., Somerville. Interment to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, So. Plainfield. Visiting will take place before Mass on Thursday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am
