Robert F. Easton Jr. 59 a resident of Saudi Arabia passed away February, 7,2015 in Thailand on a holiday vacation.
Bob grew up in Hillsborough, New Jersey, graduating from Hillsborough High School in 1973. At Hillsborough High he lettered in 3 sports; football, basketball and track. After graduation he attended Trenton State College for 3 years, also playing football there. He transferred to Saint Francis School of Nursing graduating in 1978.
Bob started his career at NYU Medical Center as a surgical nurse and worked there for several years. He relocated to Atlanta, GA where he worked at St. Joseph’s Medical Center on the open heart team. For the last several years he worked at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as a surgical nurse in the operating room assisting in heart surgeries, kidney transplants and otheroperations. He also travelled with hospital staff to Africa to assist in operations on poor and needy individuals.
Bob loved to travel and he travelled all over the world includingFrance,Germany,Dubia,Spain,and Cambodia. He alsoloved going to flea markets and garage sales to hunt for paintings and antiques. InSaudi Arabia he had dozens of Persian rugs and antiques that he was planning to sell in the United States on his return..
Bob will be sorely missed by his family and friends He leaves behind his Beloved Daughter, Elizabeth Easton, who lives in Atlanta, GA. Bob also leaves behind his father, Robert F. Easton, Sr. of Hillsborough, his sisters, Debra Rzemieniewski, Denise Johnson, and Donna Martin and his brother, John Easton.. He also leaves behind ten nieces and nephews and also seven grandnieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 21st, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of God Church, Triangle Road, Hillsborough, New Jersey. Immediately following the service luncheon will be served in the Church hall. Please call the family at 908-359-6852 if you are planning to go to the luncheon, so that we can plan accordingly.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
