Karen M. Cusick

After a long brave battle with breast cancer, Karen Cusick passed away on December 19, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Born and raised in Somerville, Karen graduated from Somerville High School and attended duCret School of the Arts in Plainfield where she studied Commercial Art. She started a job designing gift wrap but soon left to raise her family.

Creative, generous, and loving Karen was best known for her yearly hand drawn Christmas card, thoughtful gift-giving, and delicious cookies. She will be forever missed by all who knew her.

Survived by her husband, Jim and children, Molly (Christopher), James (Valerie), Joseph (Christina), brother Bob and many sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00PM on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville. Memories will be shared at 4:30PM.
